What does human-centered leadership look like in the age of AI? Hopefully, it looks a little more human than we think!

I traveled to Palm Springs, California, to speak at the California Special Districts Association Annual Conference in partnership with CPS HR Consulting, exploring the human skills that matter even more as AI becomes increasingly capable.

There's something wonderfully fitting about talking about the future of human-centered leadership while also making room for the very human moments behind the work.

The question I keep coming back to is this: As AI gets better at being AI, how do we become better at being human?

For me, that's where the most interesting conversation about leadership begins.
