What the Elements Teach Us About Leadership Presence
What does it really mean to be present as a leader? I spent a day in Raleigh working with executives on Leadership Presence in partnership with Olivier Mythodrama — exploring how we can access more of ourselves when the moment calls for it.
We used the four elements — water, fire, earth, and air — as different lenses for understanding how we show up. Because leadership presence isn't about becoming more polished, performing confidence, or trying to fit some ideal version of what a leader should look like. It's about awareness. Knowing how to hold emotion. How to inspire. How to ground yourself in your body and voice. How to recognize the inner critics that can get in the way — and move forward anyway.
Different elements. Different capacities.
One deceptively simple question: How do I want to show up? Grateful to Olivier Mythodrama for the partnership and for another day of doing this work together.
